The Boston Massacre
A group of angry colonists threw snowballs and rocks at the British soldiers. One of the soldiers became nervous and accidentally fired his gun which set off the other soldiers to fire as well. Five colonists ended up being killed. -
Boston Tea Party
The colonists were angry at the British and accused them of tricking them into paying taxes. One night, the Boston Patriots decided they had enough, entered three British ships and dumped tea into the harbor. -
Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were passed to punish the Massachusetts colonists by cutting off the British trade port, forced them to house British troops, and cut off lands claimed by many owners.
