Royal Proclamation
The Royal Proclamation of 1763 set the boundaries of settlement, so that there would not be conflict. This was a positive thing for the British.

Stamp Act
Parlmament passed the Stamp Act in 1765. All certificates, licenses, and big documents had to be on official paper and stamped. The Americans did not like this. The British thought it was best for everyone.

Quarting Act
The quartering act was where the troops would be housed in American homes. The Americans were not pleased with this. The British didn't mind since they had the advantage in this situation.

Declaratory Act
After the Stamp Act was repealed, the Declaratory Act was put into place. The Americans did not approve.

Treaty of Paris
This treaty marked the end of the war. It granted Britain a chunk of North American land.
