Proclamation of 1763
This Proclamation did not alow colonists to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains. The British government feared the conflict and Native Americans would lead to another war. They also afford to pay British troops to defend the western lands. Colnists were enraged by this proclamtion because they felt they had won the right to settle in the Ohio River Valley winning th e French and Indian War. -

Quartering Act
This was a cost-caring measure that requiring the colonies to quarter or house the British soldiers and provide them with supplies. -
Townshend
A series of laws passed by parliament in 1767 that suspended New York's assembly and esatablished taxes on goods brought into the British Colonies. -
Tea Act/ Boston Tea Party
The colonies were being taxed for tea withuot a say. As a result they dumped tea into the ocean from the ships. -

A series of laws enacted by Parliament in 1774 to punish Massachussets Colonists for the Boston Tea Party. -
