The Palmer Raids were raids during the first Red Scare under Wilson. Some thought the arrests were only because of race because mostly Italian and other European immigrants were taken as suspects.

Red Summer
The Red Summer was the same given to the summer, autumn, and spring of 1919. Racial riots against black American from white Americans took place across the US. Over 165 people died which is how the summer got its name.

The 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote in the US. Women had been fighting for a long time to be recognized as citizens and not just wives.

National Origins Act
The National Origins Act but a severe restriction on immigration in America. There was a nationally quota placed on immigrants which were blatantly racists. The main groups excluded were immigrants from southern or eastern Europe and Asians. -

The 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment, allowing liquors to be legal again. The 18th Amendment didn't really have much of an effect on the country so there was no reason to keep it around. -
