    The Indian Independence movement was a series of peaceful actions by the people of India against its British colonizers. Some of these peaceful actions include boycotting British goods and protesting. These actions against the British would continue until the year 1947 when India gained its independence.

    The Apartheid movement was the racially motivated laws that separated the black inhabitants of South Africa from the white. During this time many black men and women would be forced to follow unfair and unjust laws in attempts to end
    the apartheid movement.

    Mau Mau Rebellion

    The Mau Mau rebellion was a band of African people who used militant tactics in an attempt to free Kenya from British rule.

    The Cambodian Civil War

    The Cambodian Civil War resulted in the implementation of the Khmer Rouge, a Marxist regime that controlled Cambodia under the authority of Pol Pot. During this time many Cambodians were systematically executed as the government attempted to convert Cambodia into an agricultural country free from Western industry. The regime fell in 1979 when Vietnamese soldiers invaded and seized the capital.
