Gaining Independence

Andrew Jackson's Election
Andrew Jackson was elected president because the right to vote had been expanded to more white citizens. -

Andrew Jackson sought to grant political power to the common people. He hired his own supporters to replace previous, also gave many jobs to his friends and political party. -
