The second great awakening was Protestant religious revival during the 1790s which continued. It allowed rapid growth among Baptist and Methodist. It allowed the preachers to lead the movement. -

The Louisiana Purchase was dated April 30. The United States purchase this land from France. Which came at a great cost because it double the United States. -
War of 1812
The war of 1812 is a war between The United States and Great Britain. This of course started in 1812. This war started because Britain interferes with the U.S. trade and aided the Native Americans and British killed the U.S. sailors. Later on this would result in peace between the two. -
Temperance Movement
The Temperance movement was led by mainly women wanting to banned alcohol beverages in The United States in the 1830s. This was connected as well with the Seneca Falls Convention. -
Abolition Movement
Around the 1830s a movement began when anti-slavery leaders began to protest against slavery. Theses leaders such as Frederick Douglas and many more. -
Education Reform
May 4, 1796 at Massachusetts a man name Horace Mann started the common-school movement. This movement allowed many to be virtuous and medicated citizens. If it wasn’t for Mann we would have never gone to school. -
Women’s Right
In 1848, the first organization called Seneca Falls Women’s Rights Convention led to many women’s rights movement. This movement wanted women and men to be equal. They wanted the right to vote and be out of the house.
