    Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated alongside his wife Sophie. This took place in the town of Bosnia, He was on his way to the capital of Bosnia when he got attacked. At around 10:10 Nedjelko Cabrinovic hurled a hand grenade to the vehicle they were riding on. Luckily no one was injured but then he would run into Gavrilo Princip armed and ready and assassinated Franz Ferdinand and his wife.

But the german army would lose leaving the french army to continue in the war.
