The French and Indian War was a fight over beaver fur. The French wanted beaver fur at the Ohio River Valley. They both fought over more land leading the French to loose. -

The Treaty of Paris of 1763 ended the French and Indian War. When the French looses the war they give up all its territories in Mainland North America. -
Proclamation Line
The Proclamation Line was created after the French and Indian War. It set a boundary between the Appalachian Mountains and West of it. You weren't allowed to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains. -

In the Sugar Act you were required to pay taxes on imported goods such as sugar,molasses, etc. It Increased the population of people smuggling goods in the colonies. The British colonies smuggled in order to compete with the French and Spanish colonies for more money. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was created to enforce taxes on recognition of documents and newspapers. The outcome of taxing the colonists were Protests,Boycotting, and Secret Societies. The colonists were furious on the taxes they were given. -
Quartering Act
The Quartering Act was created to house the British Soldiers and provide them what you provide to yourself. It was unfair to the colonists and they had to feed the soldiers who were anywhere in the area. It also created the 3rd amendment not allowing to house soldiers. -
Townshend Acts
The Townshend Acts imposed duties on glass,lead,paper,paint, and tea imported into the colonies. It was based on to tax your everyday goods that you usually buy. It made colonists angry because they taxed things that they use daily. -
Boston Massacre
The Botston Massacre was when the British Soldiers open fire on American Colonists. Prior to the Boston Massacre British instituted new taxes. The first African American were to die in this fight was Crispus Attucks. -

Battle of Lexington and Concord
The Battle of Lexington and Concord is the first battle of the American Revolutionary War. It was also known as the "Shot Heard Round The World." The war took place at Massachusetts and 366 people were either killed, wounded or missing on both sides combined. -
