Seven Years War
Due to conflict rising among different regions war was set to happen. War occurred over the competition for land and resources in the new world and so when the British fought the French the Brits came in victorious in the end. The treaty of Paris ended the war in North America however the British were left in debt due to war and the destruction it caused on the land. -
Join or Die
War for independence meant a lot for those who felt as if they in fact did deserve their own individuality and freedom. After war many colonies did not want to pay taxes to the government if their voices and opinions weren’t being valued and heard. -
Ferdealists & Anti- Federalists
Anti Federalists and Federalists didn’t see eye to eye since the Anti Federalists believed that individuals should have their own power and Federalists believed that the central government should have the power. -
Land Ordinance of 1785
The land ordinance of 1785 took territory of the North West and ruled how to organize that territory meaning who can be on it who can’t and who owned it. -
Alien and Sedition Acts
The Alien and Sedition Acts were put into place to keep people from bad mouthing and bashing on the policies of the Federalists. This act limited the freedom of speech people had.
