This was a series of attacks by Native Americans on colonists in the frontier. These actions were the reason for the Proclamation Act. -
Proclamation Act
This proclamation of King George III stated that colonists were no longer allowed to move west of the Appalachian Mountains due to Native American attacks. -

This required colonists to pay for housing and food of the British soldiers that were located in North America. -

This was a tax placed on all printed goods. -

Declaratory Act
This act simply stated that Parliament & the king had the right to pass whatever acts and/or taxes they deemed necessary. It was also on this day that the Stamp Act was repealed. -
Townshend Acts
This was a tax on glass, lead, paper, paint, & tea. -
Boston Massacre
Colonists were throwing snowballs at soldiers. Soldiers retaliated by open firing. Five colonists were killed. -
Boston Tea Party
Sons of Liberty were upset over the Tea Act. They plan a protest by throwing British tea into the Boston Harbor. -
Coercive/Intolerable Acts
These acts were passed on the colonists as a punishment for the Boston Tea Party -
