Laser Disc
The Laser Disc was introduced as "Discovision" by MCA and Philips. It was first sold in 1978, in North America, and was the film "Jaws". But LaserDisc players were very expensive for consumers and the Laser Disc was the first forerunner for the DVD and also CD.

Nintendo Releases the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in the U.S.
Nintendo released it's Famicom gaming system in Japan but renamed the gaming system (NES) when it was sold in North America. NES launched with eighteen avalible titles.

Macintosh Portable is Released
Apple lauched a new model of their Macintosh computers, only this one was made portable, after five years from the making of the original. Photoshop is Launched
Photoshop is an image editing software that was designed by Adobe Systems. It became popular for usage in movie making, and is still popular today.

Airport is Invented
Airport is Apple's version of a wireless internet router designed specifically for mac. Also, the first short-range radio standard is now called "Wi-Fi".

The Sims is Released
The Sims was first created in 2000, and allows players to create a home, get a job, and form relationships in this game just life real life. This game took concepts from the previous game, Sim City that was created by a team at Maxis lead by Wil Wright.

Hulu is Founded
Hulu was first created by a cooperation of US media giants Disney-ABC Television Group, Fox Broadcasting, and NBC Universal. Hulu allows watchers to steam trailors, shows, and movies.

The Macbook Air Design is Produced
Apple designed it's latest model of a Macbook at the time, creating the most thin, light-weight, and long battery lasting laptop computer. Plants Vs Zombies is Released
Created by Programmer George Fan, this game is explained in it's title. Plants Vs Zombies is a game where you can choose a plant or plants you want to defend your house, and different types of zombies try to get into your house. If your plants survive and protect your house, you move onto the next level. If they don't, you'll have to redo the level until you win.

Microsoft Introduces Xbox One
Xbox One was released after eight years of the Xbox 360. Although this Xbox One provides streaming entertainment options and offers Blu-Ray discs for games, this Xbox One does not offer backward compatibility for earlier Xbox games.

Destiny's First iPhone
In 7th grade, I got my first phone. I got a silver iPhone 6s and I still have it today. My phone was supposed to be a graduation present but it became a Christmas present when my parents were tired of hearing my whining. -
Alyssa's first Macbook Air
This is the personal event in which my parents bought me a Macbook Air, designed by Apple. It was a middle school graduation present at the end of 8th grade, and it is very useful for school and personal use.
