    Magna Carta
    The Magna Carta was signed by King John on June 15th, 1215. The Magna Carta limited the powers of the rulers.
  • Benjamin Franklin's Kite

    Benjamin Franklin's Kite
    Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity through flying a kite. Benjamin wasn't the first to study this but he was able to figure it out and made on the greatest discovery's to this day. Everything we use is electricity.
  • French and Indian War

    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian War was a war fought between the British and the French. The war was fought in North America, these 2 countries were fighting to see who would be the leading power in North America.

    The Boston Massacre is known to the British the incident on King Street. British troops shot and killed several people while they were being harassed by a mob in Boston.

    This was an effort to save the troubled enterprise, the British Parliament passed the Tea Act. The act granted the company the ability to ship tea to the colonies without it first landing in England.

    This was the first battle of the America Revolutionary War. This battle was apart of the first battles of the war. The British commander and hundreds of British troops marched from Boston to Concord because they heard that there was gun powder, supplies and weapons. They wanted to seize it all.

    The Declaration of Independence is one of the most important documents in the Untied States of America. It was an official act taken by all of the 13 colonies declaring their independence from the British. There were 56 men who signed the document.

    The Battle of Saratoga was the turning point in the Revolutionary War. 5,895 British and Hession troops surrendered their arms. This gave the Continental Army a new hope and it gave them strength knowing they could win battles.

    The British Army was decimated and the Revolutionary war was virtually over. The French and American troops trapped the British Army and they were forced to surrender. Soon after the war was over we became the Untied States of America.

    The Bill of Rights gave and still gives Americans their rights in relation to the government. The Bill of Rights were the first 10 Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

    The Battle of Fort Sumter was the battle that started the American Civil War. The early morning of April 12th, 1861 the Confederate troops opened gun fire on Fort Sumter which started the battle and began a long War in America.

    The Emancipation Proclamation was issued by Abraham Lincoln. The Emancipation Proclamation only applied to the states that seceded from the Untied States at the beginning of the Civil War. President Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation in hopes of declaring to free all slaves.

    The Battle of Gettysburg was the bloodiest and biggest number of casualties in the American Civil war. This battle was a union victory, the union stopped the general Robert E. Lee and the confederate troops from trying to invade the North for a 2nd time.

    The Assassination of United States President Abraham Lincoln happened at Fords theatre in Washington D.C. The assassinator was John Wilkes Booth, he killed Lincoln only 5 days after the civil war ended.
