    The Walsh-Healy Act was a law passed saying that poeple working cant get paid less than the "prevailing minimum wage" normally paid in a locality; restricted regular working hours to eight hours a day and 40 hours a week, with time-and a half pay for additional hours. Prohibited the employment of convicts and children under 18; and sanitation and safety standards. This effects labor movemnt because now they legally have to pay these people a certain amount and workers have to be atleast 18.
