Annies brother Jared had been hit by a hockey puck in the chest and died due to heart failure. -

At Annie's house, summertime. A more subberban area. 108 Knickerbocker lane. -

Rising action 1, conflict
Annies brother, Jared, dies due to heart failure. This causes saddness and depresion to the family. -
Rising action 2
Annie and her best friend Rebecca start to fight and aren't friends. -
Rising action 3
A new neighbor moves in across the street from annie. Annie becomes friends with the old lady that lives there and learns that her husband has died. -
Rising action 4
Annie's neighbor Mrs. Harper has a yard sale where Mrs.Harper says Annie can have one thing for free. Annie spots a book in Mrs. Harpers house and it wasn't for sale. Annie decides to steal the book, it's a medical book. -

Annie's girlscout troop is helping the community. Annie and 3 other girls are sent to wash cars. Doug Zimmerman comes to the wash on a bike then Annie sprays
Doug with the hose, and then Annie gets in trouble. -

It is Jared's birthday. Annie and Jareds friend Tommy put up posters to honor Jared around town -

Annies mom doesn't go to the fourth of July party and her dad didn't want to go but he took Annie. This was because of

Annie's mother makes her stop reading the medical book that Annie took from Mrs. Harper. -

Annie and her best friend Rebecca make up and are friends again because of Ms.Finch. -
