The Munich Pact is Signed
Britain and France appease Hitler by signing the Munich Pact, which gives Hitler control of the Sudetenland. -

Hitler invades Poland
Hitler invades Poland using Blitzkrieg tactics. The Polish were quickly defeated and Poland was occupied. 16,000 Germans died and 66,000 Polish people died. -
Britain and France declare war on Germany
In response to Hitler's aggression in parts of Europe, Britain and France go to war with Germany in an attempt to stop Hitler from dictating Eurpope.
