    In this event, the owners of the UFC wanted to see out of all the fighting styles which one is the best. So they gathered up people who are at the best at their style and put them in an octagon and let them fight. Their fighting styles were very one-sided if they wrestled they would take it to the ground if they boxed they would keep it standing. It was like that for a certain amount of time.

    In this event, it was influential as it showed that just because you can be good on the ground and on the feet does not mean you will win every fight. It showed that you need enough in the gas tank to last in a fight. When Frank Shamrock and Tito Ortiz fought Tito Ortiz was a feared fighter who was tough and well rounded. However, in the fight, Frank Shamrock showed that he had trained well in Cardio as Tito Ortiz was visibly gassed out. Frank Shamrock finished Tito in the 4th round by TKO.

    In this event, the UFC introduced one of the most dominant champions George St-Pierre. He showed one of the most effective styles of fighting. Which was taking your opponent down and using ground and pound to win a dominant decision or to win the fight by stoppage

    In this event, it gave a fighting legend BJ Penn an opportunity to show that a great submission game and a nasty stand up is dangerous for any fighter. BJ Penn took his opponent and dominated him on his opponent try to take BJ to the ground and paid the price he got submitted very quickly.

    In this event, it pinned two great heavyweights against each other Cain Valazquez vs Antonio Nogueira and it showed that speed and power is dangerous as Cain Valazquez knocked out Nogueira two minutes into the first round
  • UFC 178

    In this event, it showed the world one of the riskiest but oddly effective styles. This put the huge superstar Conor Mcgregor against his rival Dustin Poirier. It showed the world that with a Karate stance and a power left hand you can do a lot of damage. As he took out Dustin Poirier one minute into the first round.

    In this event, it showed that no matter how tough a fighter is they can not always last that long as Justin Gaethje one of the toughest fighters in the UFC was taken out by Eddie Alvarez with heart and vicious shots to the body winning the fight by TKO in the third round.

    In this event, it put heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou against each other. Francis Ngannou had the world record for the hardest punch in the world which helped him run through his opponents. However, Stipe Miocic who is a division 1 wrestler put his skills to use pressuring Francis Ngannou and sticking him to like glue never giving him a breath of fresh air.

    This event showed one of the most feared lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Al Iaquinta. Khabib who has been wrestling since he was young showed how good he is as for 5 grueling rounds he smashed Al Iaquinta while maintaining him on the ground to win the title.

    In this event, it showed people how the immense heart, power, and pressure can win you a fight. A prospect Kevin Lee vs a veteran Al Iaquinta went toe to toe for 4 straight rounds. However, in the 5th round, Al Iaquinta turned it up rocking Lee and hunting him down the entire round never giving up and using his power to get him the decision win.
