Safety improved
After the Titanic, safety changes were brought in to prevent the same mistake from happening again. This included introducing a 24 hour lookout system, an international warning system for icebergs (introduced to warn ships about any icebergs in the area), radio connectivity (ships could now communicate whilst at sea and exchange warnings) and finally, ships were legally required to carry enough lifeboats to evacuate everybody on board in case of an incident; the Titanic only had half the amount. -

Post-covid demand increase
increased demand for a cruise was high post-covid, several companies announced record sell outs and releasing future schedules has become common place. P&O sold out in 6 hours for a 40 day Caribbean cruise, whilst Virgin and Crystal cruises released their cruise itineraries early for 2023 to meet the level of future demand.
