The battle of Marne was also known as the Miracle of Marne. The battle was won by the Allies. The battle was near north and east of Paris. The German army was getting over confidence and the French took that as a advantage and deafted the Germans. -

The news that Germany U-Boats would sink ships made it to the U.K and they warned the Lustania but the Captain of the Lustania ignored it and continued to go to where the U-Boats area.
