    There begins pro-democracy protest against Assad's regime. The protest later begin to heat up and turn more violent. This further lead to the full blown civil war between the two groups.
  • Obama Tells Assad to Back Down

    Obama along with several of the U.S's allies ask for Assad to back down for the Syrian people. This is to help avoid conflict and war in the region which is already under high tensions.
  • Obama Call Syrian Chemical Weapon "Red Line"

    Obama says that the issue with the Syrian chemical weapons are a "Red Line" and need military action. His statement is due to the recent movement of these said weapons.
  • U.S and Russian Deal to Curtail Syrian Chemical Weapons

    The SFRC (Senate Foreign Relations Committee) approved a proposal to let Obama take over military actions in the Middle East region. Which lead to the U.S striking a deal with Russia to help remove and destroy all chemical weapons in Syria.

    Obama finally takes action on his "red line" so less chemical conflicts can be avoided. In the attack 1,500 women, children and men were killed.

    Obama and Congress's plan to arm the Syrian rebels to help fight was finally approved. Along with Obama ordering another airstrike in the region.

    In a investigation conducted by NATO it is shown that the Syrian government still hold previously banned weapons. Which include mustard gas, which ISIS holds.

    White house announces that the US will be conducting an airstrike on Syria. But people want to make sure the president has congresses approval before the airstrike goes underway.

    The attack killed dozens of people including children. It is a breach of the 2013 treaty. When Trump watched footage of the attacks he said that is crossed the line.

    President Trump signed a executive order that banned all Syrian refugees from entering the country. Which then developed into the first travel banned.
