Open Door Policy Passing
China gave the United States resources, China was weak and the US didn’t want other strong powers to take advantage of them. The US passed the open door policy which stopped others from taking advantage of China. Why-America and China both benefited from this. -
The Philippine and American War
Cuba had success with independence which caused the Philippines to want independence. The US isn’t grant it so the cause war however the US won and controlled the Philippines. Why- it shows the different circumstance that the different places get. -
The Platt Amendment was Passed
The platt amendment was passed to protect Cuba’s independence. It also gave the US the right to Cuba’s land. Why-this helped Cuba and the US and is still in place today. -

This Was used to describe Roosevelts approach to foreign affairs Why: This policy gave America force without actually having to use it and proved the strength of the American naval strength. -
Dollar Diplomacy was started
This was how Taft approached foreign policies which changed how Roosevelt was. Why-this was one of the ways that a major president at the time ran the country and did these things. -
Moral Diplomacy was started
Woodrow Wilson became president and he tried to be moral when approaching foreign relations. Why-it shows another presidents view.
