    TET Offensive
    The TET Offensive was a series of attacks from North Vietnam that occurred on Lunar New Year. They had attacked over 100 cities located in South Vietnam and many U.S troops. The purpose of the Tet Offensive was for The United States to take a step back from the Vietnamese war. This attack had led to a lot of struggles for the Vietnam War.
  • My Lai Massacre

    My Lai Massacre
    My Lai Massacre was a very horrible, devastating event that happened during the Vietnamese War. Americans had horrifically killed many citizens such as women, children, and men in the town of My Lai. As many as 500 citizens were brutally slaughtered in this massacre, many women and young girls were raped. This event was covered up by American officers for a whole year, the news had leaked and caused a very big outrage.

    It was a regular Sunday, a lot of tv programs were interrupted by a sudden video of the current president at the time, Lyndon B. Johnson. He had made the announcement that he won't be seeking re-election.

    The assassination of MLK happened in Memphis, Tennesse. This was an ultimate shock to the world. Martin Luther King was a leader of the civil rights movement, he was baptist minister of and founder of the Southern Christian. He was good at delivering powerful speeches and was apart of many non-violent protests.

    Robert Kennedy was assassinated at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, this was shortly after he had won the California presidential primary. His killer was 22-year-old Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan.

    Many Vietnamese protesters had been in a fight police at the Chicago Democratic Convention. At the time there had been internal disagreement on their stance in Vietnam.

    Richard Nixon had launched the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. His goal was to land a man on the moon and return home safely. He successfully accomplished the mission.

    Mr. Scully, written in history as the best history to exist thus far in the United States. He likes to keep weird bandaids of Abraham Lincoln in his desk drawer, what an Icon! He likes to play with toy boats that he thinks are really cool, if only he knew... just kidding! He is actually a very caring teacher and many appreciate his efforts. I hope I get extra brownie points for this. (also you didn't put a date for the year you were born so I guessed)
