A: the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.
B: Based on principle that all citizens of the city-state of Athens had right to attend and speak at assembly.
C: This system was comprised of three separate institutions: the ekklesia, a sovereign governing body that wrote laws and dictated foreign policy.

Oligarchy
A: They were ruled by a small number of people.
B: After the small number of people, they would choose new people to govern them.
C: How there power ended was because alkthe billionaires were not allowed to help there country.
D: The States that still use oligarchy today are China, North Korea, and Venezuela. -

Monarchy
A: They were ruled bya monarch or a king.
B: After they died, someone else was chosen to rule. And after sometime, they changed the rule, and it said, they would pass down the crown to the oldest son.
C: How there power ended was when the aristocrats found out that as a group, they were as strong as the king, and wanted to share the power.
D: TheThey States that still us monarchy today, are Oman, Brunei, Andorra, Swaziland, Vatican City, and united Arab Emirates. -

Tyranny
A: The ruler in power in a tyranny would be called a tyrant.
B: Usually of noble birth but often had support of the poor.
Unlike a monarchy, power not inherited.
C: Hippias was a harsh ruler and he had spies that would report if they criticized him. As rule became more and more unbearable
D: Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Burma, North Korea and Zimbabwe.
