Tim Hortons was found by the hockey player, Tim Hortons! I think this is a big part in shaping our country because Tim Hortons is only in Canada and we have a very large coffee drinking population. this is Canada's largest fast food service with over 3000 stores nationwide! -
Official Language
The official langueages are English and French. 58% of our population is English, 22% is French, and the remaining population is Chinese, Portugues, Spanish, and a viarity of other minority languages. We are a bilingual country because we speak both English and French. -

This a very important event because Quebec was asking people to vote for the second time on whether they should split from Canada and become their own country. Even more important was the results. 49.42% said yes, and 50.58% said no. This really shaped our country because we almost lost a province which would bring our French speaking population number down considerably. -
