Scientific Articles Being Published Supporting the Society for the Examination of Turkish History's Claims
Many scientific articles were being published proving that the early innovations of Turkey had a major impact on the rest of the world. Historians were saying that without the influence of Turkey the other societies (such as China and India) would have made developments much later. -
Society for the Examination of Turkish History Founded
Society with the purpose of perpetuating Turkish nationalism through history. They declared that the human origin lied in Turkish Territory. Making the Turkish responsible for any and all achievements by humans. Ataturk wanted what the society was saying to be the dominant narrative so people would have pride in their country. Ataturk's goal was to wipe out the imprint of the Ottomans by diminishing their impact and placing a larger emphasis on the earlier portions of Turkey's history.
