King Taawhio was the second Maaori king. He was born around 1822. King Taawhio was an Anglican. He also was the leader of many waikato tribes. King Taawhio lived on the hills at Lake tee koo utu. He used the lake to wipe of his tears during the maaori land Wars and whenever he wasn’t felling the best.
