By going to news agencies, Snowden was able to release as much information as quickly as possible to the masses. -
Facebook's Safety Check
Facebook launched a service in 2014 called Safety Check which allows users to notify friends and family that they are safe in times of disaster or crisis. The service also allows users to check on others in the affected areas and mark friends as safe. The service has been used in the Brussels terror attacks and the attacks in Paris in 2015. The service has been used in all major events of natural disaster or crisis in the U.S. since June 2016 -
ISIS Propaganda Video Featuring 10 Year Old Boy
ISIS released another propaganda video that featured a 10 year old boy claiming to be the American son of a U.S. soldier. ISIS uses news agencies, YouTube, and ISIS affiliated Facebook pages to circulate their videos and propaganda. This allows the fastest most direct route to mass amounts of viewers. -
Trump Tweets "Threat" to North Korea
President Donald Trump said on Twitter, North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho and leader Kim Jong Un "won't be around much longer" if Ri echoed the thoughts of "Little Rocket Man," an apparent reference to Kim. -
