Women on the eighth floor started to jump out the building that being the only option. Creating a devastating problem for the firefighters, who's hoses were being crushed by falling bodies. And there latters only stretching as far as to the seventh floor. Their nets not being strong enough to catch as many as three women jumping at the same time. -

The fire was out within half an hour and more than 140 deaths. The workers union organized a march on April 5 to protest conditions that led to the fire march was attended by over 80,000 people.
