One example is a decline in tourism. in the immediate aftermath of the event, all over the world there was a huge decrease in people travelling. People were hesitant to travel in fear of being in a terrorist attack or in a unsafe situation. This resulted in a big drop in numbers visiting the UK. Because of this event, airports became alot more stricter with all security, and improvements were made on board too

Because of this alot of businesses within the travel sector struggled financially.
