First Mode of Transportation

10,000 BCE

Feet were first used to travel. No one knows what time feet were first used.

Second Mode of Transportation

4000 BCE

Donkeys, horses, and camels were the first types of transportation humans learned how to use. They used carriages with them.(Wheel was first invented at this time).

Third Mode of Transportation

3000 BCE

Sailing boats were believed to be used around the time when horses, donkeys, and camels were domesticated. Egyptians used boats to travel through the Nile River.

Fourth Mode of Transportation

1700

Hot Air Balloons and Hydrogen Balloons are invented and used as transportation.

Fifth Mode of Transportation

1815

Steamships are starting to be used.

Sixth Mode of Transportation

1817

Bicycles are invented, but become popular later on in the 1870's.

Seventh Mode of Transportation

1825

Rail ways were soon used relativley close to when the steamships were used.

Eight Mode of Transportation

Omnibuses conducted by domesticated horses were used. (Near the time railways were used).

Ninth Mode of Transportation

1835

The hansom cab is made to travel faster throughout town.

Tenth Mode of Transportation

1885

Motorcycles are made in the same year cars are made.

Eleventh mode of Transportation

Cars were later on invented. Which are still used now. Cars are very common.

Twelfth Mode of Transportation

Later on the electric underground train is made.

Thirteenth Mode of Transportation

Buses with engines are made.

Fourteenth Mode of Transportation

The Motor Truck is made to transport heavy equipment or large amounts.

Fifteenth Mode of Transportation

Planes start to be used.

Channel Tunnels are introduced.
