In Effort to stand out
In 1906, the company introduced a new bottle in effort to make it visibly different from their competitors. The new bottle was amber colored, straight sided and diamond shaped logo with a colored trademark was added to make it stand out from other competing products. Unfortunately, these distinct labels would peeled off because bottles were mostly served from ice cold water barrels.

The Aluminum Can
The Coca - Coca 12 oz. aluminum can was introduced around 1960. To avoid the possible confusion among the loyal Coca-cola consumers, the can had an image of the Coke bottle which was already in market. The image was placed right in the front so customers know that this is the same drink as the ones in the original bottles. Quick cooling of these cans compared to thick glass bottles, was considered an advantage!
