The first iron bridge
The Iron Bridge is a bridge that crosses the River Severn in Shropshire, England. It designed by Thomas Farnolls Pritchard and local ironmaster, Construction starts November 1777. End July 1779. Opened in 1781, it was the first major bridge in the world to be made of cast iron and was greatly celebrated after construction owing to its use of the new material. -

A hot air balloon is a lighter than air aircraft consisting of a bag, called an envelope, which contains heated air. The first untethered manned hot air balloon flight was created by the Montgolfier brother. It is the first successful human-carrying flight technology. The first untethered manned hot air balloon flight was performed on November 21, 1783, in Paris, France. It flown in the Americas was launched in Philadelphia on January 9, 1793. -

The first iron steamship to go to sea was the 116-ton Aaron Manby, launched in 1821 and completed in Apr 1822 by Aaron Manby at the Horseley Ironworks, and became the first iron-built vessel to put to sea. In May 1822, she crossed the English Channel and arrived in Paris on 22 June, by carrying passengers and freight to Paris at an average speed of 14km/h. it shortened the travel distance between London and Pairs. -
The Liverpool and Manchester Railway
The Liverpool and Manchester Railway, which opened on 15 September 1830, was the first modern railroad, which did not use animal traction power. The railway was primarily built to provide faster transport of raw materials, finished goods and passengers between the Port of Liverpool and people in Manchester and surrounding towns. -
Vitznau-Rigi mountain railway
In 1873, Vitznau-Rigi mountain railway in Switzerland operated and became Europe’s first mountain railway. It was a group of railways on the mountain. The line, from Vitznau to Rigi was 5 km long and climbed a total of 1,115 m to reach a height of 1,550 m at its summit.

Danish architect Jorn Oberg Utzon and later Peter Hall. To have a venue for large theatrical productions to use for different purposes. It is unique as the design was one of the first examples using computer-aided design for designing complex shapes. It is temporary as the construction was from 1959 – 1973. Outcome – it’s a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, Australia and most popular visitor attraction. Performance was fixed for building a large area to use for different functions. -
Keibul Lamjao National Park - Manipur, India (North east India)
Mann Sharma. To conserve the extinct brow antlered deer species re-discovered in the Keibul Lamjao Park. Unique as is the only floating park in the world with floating plant materials called ‘phumdis’ and preserve the endangered brow-antlered deer. Temporary – declared a national park in 1977. Outcome - Park is a swamp and conserve the brow-antlered deer. The Manipur Tourism Department organises day tours. Time is fixed to protect the extinct species of the brow-antlered deer. -
Commercial bungee jump, New Zealand - Queenstown & Auckland

CityCenter Las Vegas is a 16,797,000-square-foot mixed-use located on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. This project was started by MGM Resorts International; and jointed by Dubai World during the project. It is the largest privately funded construction project in the history of the United States. -
Building up Burj Khalifa skycraper
Burj Khalifa was opened in 2010 as part of a new development called Downtown Dubai. The building was designed by Adrian Smith and It is designed to be the centrepiece of large-scale, mixed-use development. The decision to construct the building is based on the government's decision to diversify economy, and for Dubai to gain international recognition. Burj Khalifa is the tallest structure in the world since late 2008. -
The first World Tourism Development Conference
The First World Conference on Tourism for Development was held in Beijing, China from 18-21 May 2016 with a specific view to advancing the contribution of tourism to the Sustainable Development Goals. The event was jointly organized by the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The Conference includes two other sessions: one on the role of tourism in poverty alleviation and the development agenda, and the second on tourism and peace.
