    These people, places, and events show the progression of the start of agriculture in Mesopotamia. As empires role and fell, we saw the Code of Hammurabi and the Hittite Empire show advancements in governance and military technology. With the Phoenician we saw economic and societal changes happening, the influence of Israelite prophets and the rise of the Greek and Roman civilizations changed culture into what it would become. These all lay the ground for the next topics to come.
