this first computer weighed over 1 ton and took over 2 hours too load after all the data was entered. it picked a winner by adding all the votes together that were collected throughout the country, you think this would have been easier if we had just counted them by hand, but that would have taken almost a full nonstop week of counting! thats why back then this computer was very helpful and we can see how far we have come with these kind of computers -
