Jamestown was the first settlement of the American colonies, which is important because it was the start of America. -

This was one of the many taxes that England placed upon the colonies requiring them to put the stamps on legal documents and other items. -
Boston Massacre
English soldiers openly fired on civilians in Boston. This along with quartering of soldiers, caused colonists to become upset with the Bristish soldiers. -
Boston Tea Party
A group of colonists got together dressed as Native Americans and dumped several cases of tea into the ocean to protest the taxes on the tea. -
First Continental Congress
This was the frist meeting of delegates from each colony to get together in response to the intolerable acts. -
Ride of Paul Revere
Paul Revere rode yelling, "The Bristish are coming" to allow the minutemen to get ready for a fight with the British soldiers. -
King George III Declares the Colonies in Rebellion
This is important because this means that King George was officially declaring war on us. -
Declaration of Independence adopted
This was America officially declaring it's Indpendence from England. -

The articles of Confederation were the first guidlines for a constitution for the United states. -

The treaty of Paris stopped the fighting between America and Britain concluding the American Revolution. -
