Columbus Discovers America
He colonized American lands and claimed it for Spain. He brought back information about the New Land. -
James Town founded

French and Indian War
It was 4th war between Great Britian and France. Started because French citizens built on British land, so Virgiana set out a militia after them. -
Boston Tea Party
It was the rebellion on the taxes of goods sold in America. The "Indians" dumped 18,000 pounds of the East India Company's Tea into the water of the Boston Harbor. -
The Constitution is Ratified
It was a documented set rules and regulations for following if you live in the United States in order to keep the freedom they had. It gave them rights to be who they are and do what they pleased. -
George Washington is elected President
He was the first president of the United States and it gave the people an organized leadership. It was the start of politics in America. -
The Louisiana Purchase
Jeffereson bought the land from Napoleon for the sum of 15 Million dollars. It doubled the size of the United States and gave the Americans the opportunity to explore west. -
Abraham Lincoln is elected
He was the first president to oppose slavery and fought to end it. He issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which freed most of the slaves. -
Confederacy forms and Civil War starts
The Confederacy was the eleven Southern slave States opposing the Union. The Union wanted to abolish slavery in America. After 4 years of battle the Confederacy surrendered. -
Abe Lincoln Assassinated
First US Presedent to be assassinated and reforming of a new presedent took place. It was a day that changed America dramaticly.
