Lloyd Groff Copeman made a toaster that could turn the toast without touching the toast. Before that toast had to be turned by hand. Lloyd also made alot of toasters that could even heat food. -
The Improved Toaster
Charles Strite made a toaster that when the toast was finished it popped out. The toast popped out by setting on the timer and when the toast is done the toaster rings and the handle pushes the toast out. -
The Forth Toaster
Waters Genter Company made a model 1-A-1 Toastmaster. The household toaster could make the toast brown on both sides imediately. It could be set on a timer, and pop the toast out when finished as the other older toasters. -
The Fifth Toaster
Automatic toasters were very much of a system to show luxury. The better toasters costed up to $25. Then there were already about 1,000,000 toasters sold around the world. -
The Sixth Toaster
Already in 1950 the toasters could make teacakes, Pop Tarts, and crumpets. Melted butter or sugar could destroy the work of the entire toaster. Then there were only three different types of toasters. -
The Toaster As We Know It
Now there are millions of different toasters. In 2010 the toasters could heat/cook anything that is like a toast, remember no sugar or butter. The most famous toaster is called 139T81.
