First Day of School
1934 Scout begins school and meets the Ewells and Cunninghams for the first time. -
Scout Gets in Trouble at School
Scout gets in trouble for trying to explain why Walter Cunningham won't except the lunch money. The reason is, is because he won't be able to pay the teacher back. -
Dill Returns Home for the School Year
Dills returns home for the school year to start the first grade. -
Scout has Walter Cunningham Over for DInner
After getting in trouble Scout pushes Walter down into the mud. Jem invites Walter to their house for dinner to repay him for being pushed into the mud. Scout also tells Atticus ( her dad ) about how much she hates her teacher. -
Scout FInds FIrst Item in Tree
Scout finds two pieces of gum in a tree hole by the Radley's place..... Her brother tells her to spit it out after he founds out where she got it from. -
Scout finds Stuff in the Tree
On the way home Scout and Jem find two Indian Head Pennies in a tree infront of the Radley's place. -
Scout and Jem Find the Third Item
The third thing that Jem and Scout find is a ball of twine. -
Jem and Scout FInd Fourth Item
The fourht item that they find in the tree was two soap dolls in the shape of them selves. -
The Fifth Item In the Tree
The fifthe item in the tree that Jem and Scout find is a full pack of gum. -
The Sixth Item was Found In the Tree's Knot Hole
Jem and Scout find the sixth item in the tree's knot hole. The sixth item was a spelling medal. -
The Last Item was Found in the Tree
The last item that Jem and Scout find is a pocket watch, This is the most prized thing that they find. -
The Tree is Filled
Jem and Scout go back to leave a thankyou note for the person leaving items in tree for them. When they reach the tree they find out that Mr. Radley had filled it with cement, because it was "dying". -
Tom Robinson is Arrested
Tom Robinson is convicted for raping Mayella Ewell. -
Miss Maudie's House Burns Down
Miss Maudie's house burns down and someone puts a blanket around Scout. (Boo) -
Mad Dog is Killed
Atticus shoots a mad dog in the streets. -
Mob Stopped by Scout
Scout helps stop a mob before the court case. The mob is suspected to be KKK, because of how their close were described. -
Scout, Jem, and Dill Watch Case
Scout, Jem, and Dill watch the case from the balcony where all of the blacks sit. They also talk t o Dolphus Raymond and find out that he drinks coca cola and not alchol. -
Tom Robinson is Found Guilty
Tom Robinson is found guilty and is sentenced to death. -
Tom Robinson Explains What Happens.
Tom explains that he went to Mayella's to help cut up a chifferobe. He then says that she took him by surprise and tried to kiss him. Tom then says that he say Bob Ewell and ran. Mayella and Bob Ewell have a different story. They say that Tom tried to rape Mayella when she turned around, and that when Tom saw Bob he ran. -
Tom Robinson Dies
Tom Robinson does not want to be sentenced to death so he gets himself shot by trying to climb the fence of the jail and escape. The guards shoot Tom Robinson 17 times. -
Mr.Ewell Leaves Note
Mr.Ewell leaves a note on Atticus's front porch after loosing his job. The same day Scout decides to be in the Holloween Pageant. -
Scout Goes to the Pageant
On the way home from the pageant Jem and Scout are attacked by Bob Ewell. Jem gets a broken arm, but Scout is protected by the ham costume that she is wearing. Bob Ewell has a knife. That same knife ends up killing him. Bob Ewell would have been able to kill them, but Boo shows up and saves them. Bob Ewell falls back onto his knife and dies. Boo takes Jem to his house to see Atticus and a doctor, because of his broken arm. -
Scout Sees Boo
When Scout walks into the room to see Jem she meets someone she hasn't seen before. She finds out that it was Boo. Scout then takes Boo back to his house and walks with him.
