This was a time of where people started to make anti-colored laws. Due to the fact of black people gaining freedom, and getting rights just like how women had their rights, people thoght that the colored didn't deserve to do the same things as the whites. People belived that colored people were demons, cursed to be slaves, and white people were Gods chosen people. These laws didn't exsist in the south and border states. -

Anne Frank was born in Frankfur, Germany. After she lived and hid from the Nazis she died in March of !945 in Lower Saxony, Germany. While she was alive, she wrote in her diary what was going on. Her diary still tells a touching story to people now. -

This is when the laws were slowly starting to fade. People started to feel the pain and aggony the the colored people were feeling. There were very few white people that understood this pain. So, instead of letting them suffer, they started to help convince how those people were feeling, by getting laws passed. -
