Passengers start to arrive in Southampton. At around noon, the Titanic starts its journey down the River Test. The powerful pull of the ship snapped the lines of another ship, the New York. The two ships drew together, and they barely made it. Is the Titanic too big? -

The Titanic received 7 iceberg warnings. At around 11:40 pm they spotted an iceberg and hit it. -
The Titanic Sinks
The Titanic sent the call for assistance, CQD, and the new one, SOS. It was the first time SOS had been used by a ship in disrtess. They sent them again and again, but the nearest ship who heard them was fifty-eight miles away. At 12:30 they started loading the lifeboats, and at 12:45, the first lifeboat was lowered. At 2:05, all the lifeboats were gone, and 1,500 people were still aboard. Finally, the Titanic sank. -

They received the first iceberg warning from the Caronia on a Sunday morning. Two more around lunch time, three more at 7:30 p.m, and the final one at 9. It totaled 7 iceberg warnings in one day.
