    Done to help farmers through destroying surpluses and limiting production to raise prices on food. It also helped arrange favorable mortgages for farmers. Recovery.

  • Wagner Act (Second New Deal)

    Reform. Made unionization of workers permanently legal as well as securing better labor and management relations by allowing for such things as self-organization of strikes. This greatly improved worker relations and made it easier for workers to get fair labor rights.
  • Social Security Act (Second New Deal)

    Reform. Created an old-age pension, unemployment benefits, aid to dependent children, maternal and child support and various other services. These services greatly reduced the impact of future recessions and gave many old people a way to retire.
