The stock market crash of 1929 also known as black Tuesday was very impacting as it happened when soldiers came home from war and couldn't get jobs as the economy had crashed. This is a -2 as it it was a huge set back to Canada at the time. -

The great depression was a horrible time throughout the 30's in which many men and women couldn't find jobs after coming back from the war. Caused lots of family to be poor and not be able to provide for their children. Its a -2 as its it put Canada in a great debt. -

Now known as the NDP party, it was a party with more central focus on things that is highly popular to this day. Was made to have views that are in between Liberal and Conservative. This is a +1 as its somewhat important to Canada as itis now a big political party. -
Statute of Westminster (+2)
A huge step in Canada becoming who she is today as they were know recognized as a country like Britain and no longer a Colony. A huge part of who Canada is today. Its a +2 as it helped Canada become independent. -
First Maple Leafs game Broadcasted (+1)
This was a huge step in the right direction for entertainment. It was great because they could let people know what was going on in the games without them being there. Started in the 3rd period so people would still buy tickets. Its a +1 as its huge to broadcasting a the moment. -
Bennets New Deal (+1)
A deal in which Bennet wanted to make a Laissez Faire type party in favor of the people. This has been integrated into many structural organizations to this day. Its a +1 as it was somewhat effective of shaping Canada. -
Central Bank Act (+1)
Canada's government first central bank. Initially private and was only government owned in 1938. Its a +1 as it has grown into Canada's biggest bank. -
Dionne Quintuplets (0)
First set of Quintuplets. Very rare because it was during the great depression and no one could afford to take care of 5 let alone 2 kids. They were sold and made a circus act. Its a 0 as it didn't really help or hurt Canada. -
On-to-Ottawa Trek (+1)
Trek from British Columbia to Ottawa to protest dismissal conditions with the government. A +1 as it changed the governments mind. -
Canada Refuses Jewish Refugees (-1)
Canada was in a state of depression so they didn't want to allow anymore people in the country. A -1 as it hurt Canada's reputation. -
Canada Enters WWII on her own (+2)
This was big as at this point Canada was considered a bug part of the war and an independent country. A +2 as it helped Canada be identified. -
Superman Created (0)
Big super hero entertainment creation which is still popular to this day. A 0 as it didn't help or hurt Canada. -
Battle of Britain (+2)
This was big as it was a big part of the war as it was one of the biggest battles in the war with the most stakes. A +2 as it helped shape Britain. -
Japanese Interment (-1)
This was very bad as they wrongfully imprisoned Japanese people because the tensions were high with Japan and Canada. A -1 as it got Canada in bad with Japan. -
Dieppe Raid (+2)
Was one of the bigger battles of the war between Canada and German troops for a lot of land. A +2 as it was a huge war that helped Canada come out on top in WW2. -
Ortona-Italian Campaign (+1)
Where Canada invaded Italy and fought with defending German troops. A +1 as it was Canada defeating Germans in the war. -
Conscription (0)
Was very against back then as Canada needed soldiers so they just started picking people to join the army and took them away from their parents but if they didn't do this they might of lost the war. A 0 as it helped Canada win the war but took kids from their family's involuntarily. -
Nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki (0)
This was very good back then for Canada as they had defeated Japan but today, people are still affected by the radiation and traumatized by what they saw. A 0 as it hurt Japan really badly but also won Canada the war. -
D-Day (+2)
The attack on Juno Beach for territory that Canada and Britain ended up winning. A +2 as it helped Canada win WW2. -
Marshall Plan (+2)
A deal where the states gave a lot of money to European countries to start a rebuild after the war. A +2 as it ended the war and benefited Canada heavily.
