    The person's case, was a constitutional ruling that established the right of women to be appointed to the senate. Initiated by the famous 5, a group of prominent women activists.
    The person's case enabled women to work for change and fight for their rights. By 1915-1927,Canadian women gradually were able to vote in federal elections and in provincial elections (except in Quebec). It wasn't truly set in until 1929, after the famous 5 appealed to the highest court "Judicial Committee of the privy"
