    One of the first acts to start the end of tenements. Tenement acts were dangerous and deadly. Good Hygiene was scarce, and so was electricity and bathrooms.

    Pres. McKinley was the third U.S. president to be fatally shot at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York. McKinley was then carried from the Temple of Music and taken to hospital. But the only qualified doctor that was available was a gynecologist.
