The Boston Massacre was a strret fight between a patriot "mob" and British Soldiers. The patriots threw sticks, stones, snowballs at the British. Several colonists were killed which led to a compain by speech. -
Tea Act
The British 'flooded' the markets with British tea, that was much cheaper than American tea. There were many protests and tea was dumped into the Boston Harbor. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea party happened because of the "taxation without representation". The American colonists thought Britian's taxes was unfair. They thought Britian had no right to tax them because they didnt represent the Parliment. -
Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable acts were the American Patriots series of laws passed by the British Parliment. These acts were to punish the Massachusetts colonists for throwing the tea in the harbor. -
First Continental Congress
The First Continental Congress was a meeting between delegates from 12 of the 13 colonies. This happened at Carpenters' Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the American Revolution. -
