    As Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were driving, a man by the name of Gavrilo Princip came and assassinated point-blank with a Browning-engineered 1910 handgun at the Duke and his wife. Although he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, he died in prison of tuberculosis of the bone.

    The Germans did not want anyone to sail on open water so they attacked any ship so that there would be no help to the British when the Germans attacked a certain ship they killed many Americans so the Americans joined the war and won the war.

    The longest and bloodiest battle of WW1. The battle went from February 21st to December 18th. To destroy the French morale, the Germans used total war which meant that they used everything that they thought of to make sure that their morale was gone. In the 10 months of fighting french had 400,000 casualties.

    The Palace of Versailles is a wonderful place outside of Paris. But it is also where this treaty was signed and made Germany do many things because of the war. The USA, Italy, France, and Great Britain were the four main countries. However because of the Disagreements USA and Italy left and France and Great Britain were the only ones who signed the treaty.
