TAlthough this was created seven years before I was born, this has had a significance in my life because I use the internet on a daily basis for social media and information.

E-mail became excessively popular during 1993 and by 1997, email surpassed the use of regular mail. This is a quicker way of communication and is used more than ever now.

Netscape Communications is started by marc Andreesen and Jim Clark. This introduces the Navigator Browser which is still used today.

Google opens its first office in California, in 1998. This is importnant because Google is the search browser which I almost always use to find information and facts.

MySpace is first launched. Although I never had a MySpace, it was the first introductino to social media on the web which eventually led to Facebook.

The first Nintendo DS gaming system was introduced and gave kids the oppertunity to play games digitally but away from a computer.

flashe drives were introduced in 2006 which made it easy to carry around multiple digital files in one small gadget. i use multiple flash drives to carry around school files.

The first iPod touch was introduced. This was a more advanced version of an iPod and I could have games, music, and apps on it.

Google Chrome was launched in 2008 and improved the original website by allowing users to create accounts and interact in different ways.
