    Yuri Gagnarin was a Russian Cosmonaut who was the first man to ever orbit the earth.

  • Apollo 11

    Apollo 11
    Apollo 11 and its passengers Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins, became the first people to land on the moon. The Apollo program and all of its flights was funded by NASA and helped the US and the rest of the world learn encredible things about the moon.

  • Apollo 13

    Apollo 13
    After an oxygen tank explosion, the crew of the Apollo 13 spacecraft was forced to return to earth with very little power, heat, and water. They were able to make it back safely, yet suffered many hardships along the way, resulting in many improvements to the spacecrafts sent after.
