Trip to South Dakota
My family and I took a short vacation to South Dakota. This is a timeline of the things we did on vacation. -
SD OR BUST (Left for SD)
My family and I left for SD after school -
School
I went to school. I couldn't wait until break. We would leave later that day... -
Arrived at SD
My family and I arrived at our destination (Spearfish, SD) at about noon -
Explored Towns
We drove around Deadwood, Hill City, Lead, and took some scenic routes. We later went to the Fish Hatchery. -
Went to Mount Rushmore and Drove Needles Highway
My family and I went to see Mount Rushmore and drove the Needles Highway. Later, we went to Sage Creek Grille. The food there was delicious! -
Went to Crazy Horse and Custer State Park
We went to the Crazy Horse Monument and drove around Custer State Park. -
Badlands
My family and I drove into the Badlands. -
Started on Our Way Home:(
After visiting the Badlands, we started driving home:( -
Arrived Home
My family and I drove the whole day and arrived at home in the late afternoon. -
Return to School
I went to school. My family went to work. Things returned to normal. South Dakota is still in our thoughts. I will be happy to go back to South Dakota next year, and so will the rest of my family.
