Another example of Taxation Without Representation. The British were sending ships of tea that were being heavily taxed to the American colonies. The Colonies' retaliated by throwing the tea off the ships while dressed in native American costumes. -
Townshend Acts
Acts that stated that it was Britain's right to tax the colonies as they please. The Townshend Acts consisted on a series of measures that included a revenue tax on seventy two consumer goods (2, Michael H.)
